I run individual sessions that are designed to meet the needs of the individual in an interactive and stimulating setting. These can be social and emotional needs, communication and anxiety concerns, physical aims, or simply the need to experience music.
Sessions are conducted where the client lives – their home or residential facility, or online via telehealth. Clients can self refer or may have sessions suggested by their care advisor or case manager.
I work within the following funding systems:
- Home Care Packages (HCP)
- Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for self-managed clients
- Victorian Mental Health service providers, as part of the client’s individualised care plan
- Self-funded clients.
I have a one hour minimum for each session. Sessions can focus on one goal or activity, or they may combine different therapy activities. For example, a session could start with improvisation with instruments, then move on to singing and discussion.
